Emotion

All emotions are afflictive, that is to say, they cause suffering. They are reactive in that they involve resistance to what we don’t want or in craving or getting what we do want. The illusion of P-B provides the context for these afflictive emotional reactions.

In P-A, we transcend suffering, therefore, afflictive emotions and the present moment are mutually exclusive.  In the Now we have instead the non-afflictive response of feeling.
